Report: Indian Army finds bags with belongings of Chinese troops from clash site | Tawang clash

The Indian forces have recovered stuff left behind by the Chinese troops  in the Yangste area near Tawang sector where the clash between Indian and Chinese troops took place recently. 

As per an India Today report, the stuff recovered include sleeping bags and equipment which was apparently left behind when the Chinese troops were disengaging from the area and withdrawing to the other side of the Line of Actual Control for safety.

Citing sources, the report said, the sleeping bags could help them stay survive in open areas in extreme cold temperatures. 

Amid the long-standing deadlock at the LAC, the Chinese troops clashed with the Indian soldiers in Yangste area near Tawang sector on December 9, 2022. Reportedly, over 300 Chinese soldiers had attempted to get access to the top of a 17,000-ft peak and uproot an Indian post but their attempts were successfully thwarted by forces on the Indian side.
