Congress leader Rahul Gandhi commented on being called 'Pappu' by opponents and critics.

In a recent interview to The Bombay Journey, Rahul Gandhi said that name-calling shows the fear in his opponents' hearts, and that they are unhappy.

Gandhi added that before being called the Iron Lady, his grandmother Indira Gandhi used to be called 'gungi gudiya', or mute doll.

"I don't care. You can call me anything you want. I don't have to take it," Rahul Gandhi added.

Gandhi made the comments during his Bharat Jodo Yatra which is currently on a break and will resume on 3 January 2023.
