Rahul Gandhi jail sentence: Congress calls Opposition meet, says report

The Congress has called a meeting of opposition leaders on Friday over Rahul Gandhi's conviction in the defamation case, as per NDTV report. 

The decision was made at party chief Mallikarjun Kharge's residence in Delhi on Thursday evening which lasted for 2 hours. Speaking to reporters, Congress' media incharge Jairam Ramesh condemned the verdict passed by Surat court against Gandhi. He further added that all opposition parties will take out a march from Parliament House to the Rashtrapati Bhavan at around 11:30 or noon.
