Delhi Police have issued a notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his comment on sexual assault of women, officials said on 16 March 2023.

The notice was issued over a comment Gandhi had made in Srinagar during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Congress MP had reportedly said, "I have heard that women are still being sexually assaulted."

Police sent a questionnaire to him for details about women who approached him regarding sexual harassment so action can be taken.
