A fresh political war of words has broken out in poll-bound Karnataka. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's trip to the state, the Opposition Congress party criticised the ruling side by sharing a photograph.

The picture showed Modi being greeted by some people. Congress claimed that the BJP made the Prime Minister fold hands and stand in front of "rowdy sheeter" Mallikarjun alias Fighter Ravi.

Congress said that BJP should be ashamed since it had promised to not induct "rowdies" into its ranks.
