Opposition unity on display as Siddaramaiah takes oath as Karnataka CM

Several prominent opposition leaders and Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states attended the swearing-in ceremony of Siddaramaiah as Chief Minister and D K Shivakumar as the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka on Saturday.

Among those who attended the ceremony were Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin, NCP president Sharad Pawar, Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, Former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah, Kamal Haasan along with CPI(M) leaders Sitaram Yechuri and D Raja.

The top brass of the Congress party including Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi along with Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, and Himachal CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu were seen at the ceremony.
