Operation Kaveri: 102-year-old among 1400 Indians brought back by IAF from Sudan

As efforts to bring back Indian citizens from war-torn Sudan continue, the Indian Air Force sharing an update on the evacuation said, the force alone has brought back around 1,400 Indian citizens ever since India began ‘Operation Kaveri’ last week.

It said, two C-130 J aircraft evacuated 260 personnel including elders. While a few were above 90 years of age, one was above 102 years of age, it added.

India on Sunday brought back home another batch of 186 people. On Sunday, 229 Indians arrived in Bengaluru while 365 people reached Delhi the day before.
