New Parliament inauguration: watch which parties will attend ceremony

Amid a controversy over the inauguration of India's new Parliament building, around 25 political parties are expected the attend the ceremony on May 28, 2023.

Along with 18 parties which are members of the ruling National Democratic Alliance, seven other outfits are likely to take part in the event.

These include Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party, Sukhbir Badal's Shiromani Akali Dal, HD Deve Gowda's Janata Dal (Secular), Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress, Naveen Patnaik's Biju Janata Dal, and Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party.

At least 19 Opposition parties are likely to skip the inauguration.
