Stormy scenes were seen in the Lok Sabha on 10 February as Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya faced off with DMK MP TR Baalu.

Responding to the Opposition MP's question on medical colleges operating without adequate infrastructure, Mandaviya said that he won't allow institutes without proper faculty strength and facilities to remain functional.

A war of words followed as the Tamil Nadu leader objected to Mandaviya's allegations. Opposition MPs also shouted and disrupted the proceedings.

Speaker Om Birla said that he would check the records to see what was said.
