BJP on March 13 released its second list of 72 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The party has brought out top guns in its pursuit to win 370 seats.
The list includes Union ministers Nitin Gadkari Nagpur), Piyush Goyal (Mumbai North, Anurag Thakur (Hamirpur) and Pralhad Joshi (Dharwad). The party also fielded multiple former chief ministers, including Manohar Lal Khattar (Karnal), who just resigned as Haryana CM, former Karnataka CM Basavraj Bommai (Haveri) and former Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat (Haridwar).
BJP's firebrand leader MP Tejasvi Surya will contest from Bangalore South, while party spokesperson Anil Baluni will fight from Garhwal.
