A poster war has erupted in Karnataka with supporters of DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaih putting up large hoardings demanding the chief minister's chair for their respective leaders.

Suspense over the man who will get the chief ministerial post has been growing after the Congress emerged victorious in the Karnataka assembly polls winning 135 out of 224 seats on Saturday.

While DKS is seen as the troubleshooter of Congress party, Siddaramaiah is the more popular face with a pan-state appeal.

Congress MLAs will meet on Sunday to elect Karnataka's next chief minister.
