TMC MP Mahua Moitra who was accused of being a hypocrite and hiding her 'expensive bag' during a price rise debate in the Parliament has now issued a counter.
The investment banker-turned-politician tweeted a collage of her pictures with the same bag and wrote 'Jholewala fakir in Parliament since 2019. Jhola leke aye the... jhola leke chal padenge.'
The post is also being seen as a jibe at a similar comment made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during one of his election speeches.
On Monday, BJP's Shehzad Poonawala had tweeted a video showing Mahua Moitra putting her bag down as her party colleague Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar spoke on price rise in the Lok Sabha.
