Home minister Amit Shah to chair High-level meeting on J&K today

Union Minister Amit Shah will chair an online high-level security meeting pertaining to the situations in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. 

The information regarding the security review meeting was sent to the concerned officials, while there was an encounter going on between militants and security forces in the Chakoora area in South Kashmir's Shopian district.

The meeting is expected to start at around 3 pm in the North block office of the Ministry of Home Affairs.  

The Home Minister has been pressing for zero tolerance against terrorists and is expected to review the functioning of the security grid and other security-related matters.

J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Director of Police J&K Dilbagh Singh and other officers of Home Affairs and Central Armed Police force will attend the meeting.  besides RAW Chief and Director IB will also attend the review meeting.
