Tension gripped the Lambulane area in Imphal, Manipur yet again after abandoned houses were torched by miscreants on Monday, ANI reported.
Citing sources, NDTV said, the fresh violence erupted in the area after the Meitei and the Kuki communities came to blows in the New Checkon area this afternoon in the local market, the report added prohibitory orders were placed after reports of arson came from the area.
Pertinently, Manipur witnessed clashes earlier this month claiming 60 lives, displacing hundreds and triggering an exodus.
