'Forged' sign controversy: AAP MP Raghav Chadha issues challenge to BJP

Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha on August 10 responded to allegations that he forged signatures of some MPs while proposing their names for a Parliamentary Select Committee to study the Delhi services bill.

Addressing a press conference, Chadha said that the Rajya Sabha rulebook "does not say that for a Select Committee, the proposed Member's written consent or signature is needed".

He added, "I challenge BJP leaders to show that document. Show me that piece of paper which contains these signatures."

"The MPs who have accused me of forgery... I saw some BJP MPs from Lok Sabha making statements. I will have to approach Committee of Privileges against them to seek justice," Chadha said.
