Delhi political face-off: AAP leaders allege corruption by LG, Saxena refutes

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has decided to take legal action against four AAP MLAs for alleging that he indulged in corrupt practises during his tenure as chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).                        

According to the official statement from the LG office, legal action against will be initiated against Aam Aadmi Party leaders Saurabh Bhardwaj, Durgesh Pathak, Atishi and Jasmine Shah 

The AAP has alleged that Lieutenant Governor Saxena pressured his employees to exchange demonetised currency notes worth Rs 1,400 crore in 2016 when he was the chairman of KVIC.

Labelling the allegations as false, defamatory and diversionary, the Lieutenant Governor has decided to take legal action against MLAs of the ruling party in Delhi
