Centre sanctions Manish Sisodia's prosecution for allegedly snooping on rivals

In a big setback for Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, the Union Home Ministry has sanctioned his prosecution under the Prevention of Corruption Act in a snooping case. 

Sisodia has been accused by the CBI of forming a special unit to spy on opposition parties, ministries and individuals after AAP came to power in 2015. The CBI reports say Sisodia headed the special unit which had no legislative or judicial monitoring,
