Kiren Rijiju was removed as the Union Law Minister, being replaced with Arjun Ram Meghwal.
Rijiju was assigned the relatively low-key portfolio of Earth Sciences.
Meghwal will continue to serve as Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and the Minister of State for Culture, while taking independent charge of the Law Ministry as MoS.
