Parliament agenda released; special session to discuss key bills, 75 years of parliamentary journey

A discussion on the parliamentary journey of 75 years starting from the constituent assembly will be held on the first day of the special session of the Parliament, according to the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha bulletin issued on Wednesday.

The bulletin also listed tentative legislative business expected to be taken up during the upcoming special session of the Parliament, including the consideration and passing of The Advocates (Amendment) Bill, 2023, The Press and Registration of Periodicals Bill, 2023, The Post Office Bill, 2023, and The Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Term of Office) Bill, 2023.
