'After Balasore station, the train jolted and we saw smoke filling the coach. We couldn't see anyone. The train overturned but the locals pulled me out after 45 mins to 1 hour. I was very scared,' Subroto Pal said.

'We couldn't find anyone, didn't know where my son was initially. We thought we wouldn't survive. We have come back home safely, we will think of it as a second birth. As long as we are alive the scenes will remain etched in our minds,' his wife Deboshree said.
