Nuh violence fallout: Haryana govt nod for permanent RAF camp in district

The Haryana government has approved the construction of a permanent Rapid Action Forcedistrict headquarters in Nuh after the violence on July 31. The clearance from the state govt had been pending for 5 years. In 2018, the Union Home Ministry had approved a 49-acre patch of land to be permanently station a RAF battalion in Nuh. 

Currently, twenty companies of central forces are deployed in Haryana -- 14 in Nuh, three in Palwal, two in Gurugram and one in Faridabad to maintain law and order in the aftermath of July 31 violence.
