Self-proclaimed cow vigilante Bittu Bajrangi has been arrested in connection with the communal clashes that broke out in Haryana's Nuh on July 31.

A case was filed against him on August 1 after a video of him set to a song with threatening lyrics went viral. One of the complainants against him was  Assistant Superintendent of Police Usha who alleged that Bittu Bajrangi misbehaved with her when she tried to stop him from going to a religious procession. Clashes erupted during the procession.

6 people were killed in the violence in Nuh and adjoining areas, including Gurugram.
