China has called the inclusion of Arunachal Pradesh in the country's new map a 'normal exercise of sovereignty in accordance with the law'.
China added it hopes that 'relevant parties will treat it objectively and not over-interpret it.'
The Chinese Foreign Ministry's statement came after India registered a strong objection to the inclusion of Arunachal Pradesh as China's territory.
