Christmas is being celebrating in the country amid worries of a Covid-19 surge for the second straight year.

While streets and churches were lit up with bright lights and decorations, Covid-19 restrictions muted the festivities in some states and cities.

Visitor entry was even prohibited in some churches for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

People were seen lighting candles, enjoying the street decorations and buying some Christmas ware from hawkers.
