Mumbai hit-and-run: BMW of politician kills woman, injures another

A speeding BMW car belonging to a political leader ran over two people riding a bike in Mumbai on Sunday morning.

A 45-year-old woman, identified as Kaveri Nakhwa, died while another person has been injured.

Mumbai police said that the car fled the scene after the incident. They further said that the son of the political leader was in the car with the driver at the time of the incident.

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde assured that action will be taken against the guilty.
