Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Monday commended the Dashora Nagar community for its enduring commitment to safeguarding national interests, religious values, and cultural heritage.
Speaking virtually from his residence during the Maa Kuldevi worship ceremony in Mandsaur, Dr. Yadav praised the community’s resilience in upholding its identity and traditions through generations.
"The Dashora Nagar community has made numerous sacrifices for the protection of the nation, dharma (righteousness), and cultural values. Despite hardships, the community has preserved its traditions and identity," said the Chief Minister in his address.
Held annually on Jyeshtha Shukla Saptami, the traditional worship of Maa Kuldevi took place at the banks of the Shivna River. The event saw the presence of Member of Parliament Shri Sudhir Gupta, local leaders, administrative officials, and a large gathering of community members.
Dr. Yadav paid homage to Lord Hatkeshwar and Maa Kuldevi and extended his best wishes to attendees. "Known for their dedication to both trade and rituals, members of the Dashora Nagar community are distinguished by the purity and precision in their religious practices," he said.
He highlighted the community’s role in protecting faith during historical invasions, while also applauding their intellectual and culinary contributions. "The Dashora community has upheld its cultural heritage and preserved the sanctity of its faith during times of invasion," the CM noted.
The Chief Minister also referenced Operation Sindoor, describing it as a matter of pride, and encouraged the Dashora Nagar community to actively support national and societal development.
