Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a series of high-level meetings with senior Union Ministers during his visit to New Delhi on Thursday. These interactions aimed to strengthen coordination between the state and Centre on critical development initiatives.
During a courtesy call on Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah, CM Dr. Yadav provided updates on the state’s law and order situation and developments in the dairy and cooperative sectors. He also sought guidance on matters concerning Madhya Pradesh’s continued progress.
The Chief Minister also met Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss financial matters related to the state’s development goals.
In a separate meeting, CM Dr. Yadav held discussions with Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal Khattar. He briefed the minister on the implementation status of various energy and urban development schemes in Madhya Pradesh.
Highlighting education reforms in the state, Dr. Yadav paid a courtesy visit to Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. During the meeting, he shared updates on the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020, especially the integration of biographies of patriots and great personalities into the school curriculum.
The Chief Minister also met Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Shri Bhupender Yadav. In this meeting, he discussed key environmental initiatives such as “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” and “Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam,” along with the outcomes of the Jal-Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan.
Throughout the day, CM Dr. Yadav apprised the Union Ministers of the substantial progress being achieved across multiple sectors in Madhya Pradesh, underscoring the state government’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development.
