Crops such as paddy, soybean, sesame (ramtil), ragi, and cotton are widely cultivated across Madhya Pradesh and are expected to benefit from the revision.

The revised MSP includes a hike of ₹820 per quintal for Ramtil (sesame), ₹596 per quintal for Ragi, and ₹589 per quintal for Cotton.

Commenting on the development, Dr. Yadav said, “The increase in MSPs will directly benefit farmers by enhancing their income and ensuring fair prices for their produce.”

He further added, “This is a farmer-centric and welfare-oriented decision, and a welcome step in the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the agricultural economy.”
