Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s efforts to attract foreign investment have begun showing results, with leading German technology companies turning their focus towards the state.

Following Dr. Yadav’s Europe tour to promote investment, a delegation of five prominent German firms has arrived in Madhya Pradesh under the Global Startup Exchange Program.

The visit, taking place from August 18 to 22, is expected to boost trade, strengthen innovation partnerships, and open new opportunities for technical collaboration.

The program aims to encourage technology transfer, adoption of global best practices, and innovation in areas such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), and digital transformation.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the visit of German companies will act as a bridge to new possibilities in cutting-edge sectors. “This initiative is not merely the beginning of technical cooperation, but the foundation of a comprehensive innovation journey for Madhya Pradesh. The transformative partnerships emerging through global knowledge exchange and cutting-edge technology will empower the state’s start-ups and entrepreneurs to access international markets,” he said.

The delegation includes Shri Steven Renwick of Tyler, Shri Nicholas of Talonic, Shri Alexandra K. Mikityuk of Staex, Shri Matthias Progscha of Qnnect-AG, and Shri Philip Rejmus of Cloud-Squid.

These firms are known globally for expertise in AI-based data integration, workflow automation, IoT and connectivity solutions, enterprise software, and document-processing AI technologies. Officials said their knowledge will help equip entrepreneurs, start-ups, and youth of Madhya Pradesh to compete at a global level.

During the five-day visit, the delegation will hold technical workshops, participate in B2B meetings, and sign multiple partnership agreements. They will also visit IIT Indore, Incubation Centre Ujjain, B-Nest Incubation Centre in Bhopal, and meet senior officials of the state’s industry department. The agenda includes interactions with start-ups, roundtable meetings, matchmaking sessions, and cultural tours.

The initiative is expected to create thousands of jobs for highly skilled youth, promote global training opportunities, and pave the way for establishing new research and development centres in Madhya Pradesh. Officials said this would strengthen the state’s position as an emerging innovation hub and accelerate its journey to becoming a technology powerhouse in India.

The event is being organised in collaboration with Incubation Masters, the Germany-India Innovation Corridor, and MPIDC. It aligns with the government’s priorities under Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh and Digital India. Similar collaborations with the US, Singapore, UAE, and other technology-driven nations are also planned in the coming years.
