In a horrifying incident, a truck ran over an 8-year-old girl in Mumbai, crushing her to death, police said.
Vidya Santosh Bansode was on her way home from school on 6 April 2023, when she was hit by a dumper in the Dahisar area.
A CCTV video purportedly of the incident surfaced on social media.
Police said that the truck driver had been arrested under a case of causing death by negligence.
