Rampaging Yamuna has not only thrown the lives of people out of gear but stray animals are also equally suffering due to massive flooding.

Ghaziabad NDRF on July 15 rescued several cattle stuck in flood. Among the rescued animals is a bull belonging to an esteemed bloodline called Pritam. The bull costs a whopping Rs1 crore, a lot more than a basic house would cost.

NDRF's 8th Battalion in Ghaziabad on Saturday shared some videos and photos on Twitter saying,  “Team @8NdrfGhaziabad has rescued 3 cattle including India’s No.1 Bull “PRITAM” costing 1 Cr. from Noida. NDRF teams are working hard to save lives in flood-affected areas.”

A few goats have also been rescued by the team.

Meanwhile, the water level in the Yamuna in Delhi is showing a receding trend and heavy rainfall is not expected in the city or the higher reaches anytime soon, a government officer said on Saturday.
