The father of a soldier killed in the 2020 Galwan Valley clash was allegedly beaten up by Bihar police.

The bone of contention is reportedly a memorial built for soldier Jai Kishore Singh, who died while fighting Chinese soldiers in Ladakh's Galwan. The late soldier's family claimed that the father was first assaulted, and then arrested for allegedly building the memorial on government land.

The incident took place in Jandaha area of Vaishali.
