Yet another case of an Indian soldier allegedly being honey-trapped by a female Pakistani spy has emerged. Army man Pradeep Kumar was arrested for allegedly sharing confidential and strategic information with a woman Pakistani agent.
He was posted in Jodhpur as a gunner. Kumar first came in contact with the Pakistani spy around 6 months ago. The soldier had received a call from a woman claiming to be a military nursing service worker in Bengaluru.

The two also met in Delhi, where the woman promised to marry Kumar, according to an intelligence official quoted by news agency PTI. Kumar was in contact with the Pakistani spy through social platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp, and shared confidential information and documents through the same.
He was booked under Official Secrets Act, 1923, and taken into custody for questioning on May 18, before being arrested.
