On Manipur video of naked women being paraded, Union minister Smriti Irani says 'spoke to CM'

With a video emerging of two women being paraded naked and molested reportedly in Manipur in May, Union Minister for Women and Child Development tweeted on the case.

Smriti Irani said that the "horrific video of sexual assault" is "condemnable and downright inhuman".

She added that the had spoken to the Chief Minister of Manipur who said that a probe is underway, and no effort would be spared to bring the perpetrators to justice.
