A woman was arrested for assaulting a toll plaza staffer in Uttar Pradesh after a video of her thrashing the woman staffer went viral, as per Indian Express.
As per the report, the incident which occurred at the Luharli toll plaza on the Gautam Buddha Nagar border was captured on the CCTV installed inside the toll plaza's booth.
As per the report, the accused woman, identified as Chanchal, was asked by a toll plaza employee to make payment for the toll. However, the woman asserted that she belongs to a nearby village and asked their staffer to let their vehicle pass through. The staffer then asked the woman to produce her identity card.
Following this, the woman barged into the booth and thrashed the woman. In the now-viral video, the arrested woman is seen pulling the staffer by the hair as she is sitting on a chair. The woman kept squishing her face until the staffer was pinned to the ground.
