The demolition of Noida's Supertech twin tower at '2:30 pm sharp' on Sunday afternoon brings along a range of tasks from evacuation to execution.
As part of the evacuation plan that has a deadline of 7am on Sunday, about 4000 people from adjacent ATS village and Supertech Emerald building are being moved along with cars and pets.
At the time of the demolition, only Edifice officials, the company overseeing the demolition, workers involved in explosion and 1 police representative will be present near the Supertech twin towers.
Post evacuation of residents, only limited guards will be posted to look at the premises' safety.
As soon as the razing process begins at 2:30 pm, even the guards will be escorted out. About 400 personnel will be deployed in exclusion zone. For security purposes, the police has also banned use of drones, violation of which will amount to a penal offence.
The demolition exercise has prompted traffic restrictions too. Noida Expressway will be closed for traffic from 2.15 pm to 2.45 pm but the shut down could be extended depending on the conditions. Roads leading to the twin towers will be closed 7am onwards on Sunday. Connecting roads too will be barricaded.
The district adminsitration has also charted a medical contingency plan. There are designated hospitals for health emergencies, if any. Likewise helpline numbers, helpdesks have been arranged to avoid any untoward incident.

The nearly 100-metre tall Supertech twin towers in Noida will be gone in a matter of 9 seconds on August 28.
The illegal buildings will be demolished using 3,700 kgs of explosives that have been filled in more than 9,000 holes drilled in the columns and shears of the skeletal structures.
