Father of Sahil Gehlot, accused and partner of Nikki Yadav who was allegedly killed and her body stuffed in a fridge in outer Delhi was arrested earlier by police in connection with another murder case, NDTV reported on Monday.
The startling revelation comes after the police took Sahil, his father Virender to the dhaba where Nikki's body was stored to recreate the crime scene, the report said citing police sources.
Suspecting Sahil's father's involvement in the case, the cops interrogated his father and cousins and found their statements contradicting what Gehlot had said.
On Sunday, Delhi Police took Sahil Gehlot to the Arya Samaj Mandir in Greater Noida where he and Nikki Yadav had solemnised the marriage.
The police have so far arrested Gehlot, his father and four others -- two cousins and two friends -- in connection with the case.
