After around 2 months of inaction, Manipur police arrested 4 persons on July 20 for allegedly stripping and publicly molesting two women, and raping one of them.
The action was taken a day after a video of the horrific incident emerged on social media.
The incident took place on May 4 amid clashes between the Kuki and Meitei communities. An FIR was filed on May 18.
