Driver stops train on railway crossing for tea, picture goes viral

In a bizarre incident which took place at a railway crossing near the Siwan station in Bihar, a train driver stopped the train mid-journey just to drink tea.

A picture of the incident shows the guard deboarding the train, buying a cup of tea for the driver and climb on to the engine. The incident took place last Friday.

After the picture of the incident went viral on social media, railway officials said that they are investigating the incident and asked the loco pilot for the reason for stopping the train.

It was reported that an ambulance was stuck in the traffic that was halted at the crossing in question.
