The inferno at the Brahmapuram waste treatment plant in Kerala’s Kochi has been completely extinguished after 12 days. Ernakulam district officials said that there was no smoke emanating from the site by the evening of March 13 but residents have been asked to be careful due to the high level of pollution in the air due to the fire.

A massive fire had broken out at the waste treatment plant at Brahmapuram on March 2.
