J&K: After CRPF, Indian Army trains armed civilians from Village Defence Guard amid rising terror threat

A day after the Central Reserve Police Force was seen imparting training to Village Defence Guard in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army also joined in.

The training event for weapon firing as well as maintenance and cleaning was organised in Reasi.

Village Defence Guard, made up of armed volunteers, have made a comeback in the Union Territory after a spate of attacks on civilians by terrorists.
