The Trinamool Congress has condemned DMK minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's comment calling for the eradication of 'sanatan dharma'.

'We condemn such remarks. Harmony is our culture. We have to respect other religions. The INDIA bloc has no connection with such comments. Whoever he may be, if anyone says something like this, we should condemn such statements,' TMC's Kunal Ghosh.

Both TMC and DMK are members opposition's INDIA bloc.

MK Stalin's son Udhayanidhi had compared 'sanatan dharma' to dengue and malaria while calling for its eradication.

The BJP has not only targeted DMK but also the Congress and INDIA over Udhayanidhi's comment.
