In a unique legal drama playing out in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior, a man and two women he married at different times have agreed to live peacefully in two different houses.

They have agreed to have the husband spend 3 days of a week at one house, and 3 days at the other, with the seventh day being spent at the house of his choice.

A lawyer associated with the family court in Gwalior reportedly said that the agreement has no legal sanctity as Hindu marriage law says that a man cannot marry another woman without divorcing his first wife.
