In a tragic incident, an Army officer was killed and 3 soldiers were injured in a fire incident on Siachen Glacier.
As per initial information, the fire broke out in a tent in the early hours on July 19.
The army officials said the injured soldiers who suffered second-degree burns and smoke inhalation have been safely evacuated to a hospital in Chandigarh.
The officer who lost life in the unfortunate incident has been identified as Capt Anshuman Singh, Regimental Medical Officer.
The cause of the fire is not known yet, however, it is believed the blaze broke out after a short circuit.
