Lake overflows in Rajasthan's Ajmer due to heavy rain, water enters homes

People in parts of Rajasthan's Ajmer were seen wading through knee-deep water as the city received heavy rainfall due to the remnants of Cyclone Biparjoy. 

Anasagar Lake in Ajmer overflowed due to the incessant rainfall leading to chaos as pedestrians and cars tried to navigate the water-logged the stretch. 

The rainwater also entered houses in some neighbourhoods. 

Cyclone Biparjoy made landfall near Jakhau on the Kutch coast in Gujarat on the evening of June 15 causing widespread damage.
