The Special Investigation Team probing the Karnataka sex scandal has taken former minister HD Revanna into custody after a court denied him anticipatory bail.
The Holenarasipur JD(S) MLA is facing sexual abuse allegations along with son and Prajwal Revanna.
Reports said the lawmaker was found at former PM and his father H D Deve Gowda’s residence in Bengaluru.
He was booked in a kidnapping case after a 20-year-old man filed a complaint alleging that Revanna’s associate abducted his mother, who was among the many women featured in the alleged sex tapes of Prajwal.
Meanwhile, chaos erupted in Holenarasipura as the supporters of JD(S) MLA barged his residence while the Special Investigation Team conducted raid as part of the ongoing probe into sexual abuse case.
