Panaji, Nov 5 (PTI) Disruptions continue to affect IndiGo, India's largest airline, as it cancelled 30 domestic flights from Goa airport on Friday morning. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has advised passengers to verify their latest flight status before heading to the airport, amid numerous cancellations. The Dabolim airport, managed by the AAI, announced on X that 30 IndiGo flights to cities including Bengaluru, Surat, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi, Indore, Mumbai, and Bhopal have been cancelled since Friday morning. IndiGo has reported extensive disruptions over the past two days, leading to delays and inconvenience for many passengers. According to the airline, a combination of unforeseen operational challenges, such as minor technical glitches, winter-related weather issues, increased air-traffic congestion, and updated crew rostering norms, has impacted its flight schedules. To regain stability, IndiGo has introduced calibrated schedule adjustments for the next 48 hours and is working continuously to normalise operations and improve punctuality. The airline has assured passengers that its teams are actively working to minimise discomfort and that affected passengers are being offered rebooking alternatives or refunds. Travellers are advised to check their latest flight status before travelling to the airport according to the statement.
