In 2018, the Narendra Modi government defeated a no-confidence motion brought by then Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's TDP with 325 votes.

The highlight of the 12-hour debate including the prime minister's over 90-minute speech was the banter between then Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Modi.

It started with Rahul Gandhi, at the end of his speech, walking up to the Prime Minister and hugging him. What added to it was Rahul Gandhi's wink to fellow Congress leaders after he came back.

The social-media-frenzy-creating moment was followed by a repartee from the Prime Minister himself.

During his speech, Modi referred to Gandhi's wink and said 'Everyone can see the games eyes are playing'.

He also taunted Rahul Gandhi for coming up to his seat and said 'what's the hurry to come here? Only people of India can make somebody sit here.'
