The 'Maha'drama in Maharashtra saw a lot of late night action, here's how it unfolded in Maharashtra
First, CM Uddhav Thackeray stopped just short of resigning in the evening. He said his bags are packed & he is ready to go if that is what his MLAs want.
Then came reports that NCP and Congress have suggested that rebel leader Eknath Shinde be made the CM to resolve the crisis.
At which point, Shiv Sena's chief firefighter stepped in and said that Uddhav Thakceray will continue to remain the chief minister.
Soon after visuals of suitcases being moved out of Maharashtra chief minister's official residence created a stir.
What followed was a frenzy.
Uddhav Thackeray, his wife and two sons vacated the house at around 10pm and headed towards Matoshree, their family home.
Sititng inside his car, the embattled Maharashta CM politely waved through rolled up windows.

But as soon the Thackerays drove up to their home and Uddhav stepped out of the car, it seemed like the tiger from the Shiv Sena flag had jumped to life.
A sea of Shiv Sainiks greeted and cheered Uddhav and in return the Sena chief waved as he navigated through them.
If visuals outside Thackerays' house are anything to go by, Uddhav may have lost the support of a majority of his MLAs but it looks like he still has the support of the masses.
