Bharat Matrimony's video on harassment faced by women has enraged a large number of social media users.

Shared on International Women's Day, which is March 8, the video talks about the trauma faced by women in the garb of Holi.

The video shows a woman washing off colours splash by a splash only to reveal her bruises beneath layers.

Saying that some colours don't wash away, the matrimonial site conveys that harassment during the festival of colours leads to immense trauma and claimed that one-third of women have stopped playing Holi because of the trauma.

It goes on to send out a message "to make Holi safe and inclusive for women with #BeChoosy."

The video however has sparked outrage with netizens calling out the wedding portal for targeting a particular community. Calls for a boycott of the matrimonial site have also been doing rounds.
